Sapha Kafae is looking for a Back of House Team Member to join the Sapha Kafae crew! If you’re passionate about Southeast Asian culture and love to cook (and eat!) good food, we’d love to get to know you.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

- Valid California Food Handler card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date

- Strong problem solving skills, even stronger knife skills

- Ability to work well with a team in a fast paced environment

- Operates in a calm, collected manner during high traffic

- Experience with Southeast Asian cuisine is a plus!

- Bonus points if you have a California RBS certification

Prior back of house experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation for this role starts at $17/hr plus tips with room to grow as you grow with us!

Sapha Kafae is looking for a Front of House Team Member to join the Sapha Kafae crew! If you’re passionate about Southeast Asian culture and enjoy making (and drinking!) tasty drinks, we’d love to get to know you.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

- Valid California Food Handler card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date

- Strong customer service skills

- Cash handling and point-of-sale experience

- Ability to work well with a team in a fast paced environment

- Experience with Southeast Asian cuisine is a plus!

- Bonus points if you have a California RBS certification

Prior front of house experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation for this role starts at $17/hr plus tips with room to grow as you grow with us!

Front of House team member

Job duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to:

- Pour beverage orders with attention to timeliness and quality

- Operate point-of-sale system and handle cash

- Create drink specials as necessary to drive sales

- Complete daily prep tasks, such as making syrups or waffle batter

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and stock inventory as needed to ensure readiness for service

- Understand and comply with California food safety regulations

- Provide fast, friendly, and funky service to guests

- Run food to guests

- Bus and wipe down tables

- Wash dishes

- Basic janitorial maintenance of dining room and service areas

Job duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to:

- Prepare food orders on the line with attention to timeliness and quality using a griddle and iCombi Pro oven

- Complete daily prep tasks, such as processing bulk meat and vegetable orders or making sauces and marinades

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and stock inventory as needed to ensure readiness for service

- Understand and comply with California food safety regulations

- Provide fast, friendly, and funky service to guests

- Basic janitorial maintenance of kitchen

- Occasionally bus tables or wash dishes as needed to support FOH during high traffic
